Urban park development projects advance in Córdoba and Valparaíso

Urban development projects are progressing in Córdoba and Valparaíso. In Córdoba, the Gerencia Municipal de Urbanismo has announced complementary works for the Parque del Canal with a budget of approximately 258,000 euros. The three-month project includes creating new shade areas, improving access, installing drip irrigation, and planting 80 trees. Due to current temperatures, the tree planting is scheduled for November to ensure better development conditions.

In Valparaíso, the Parque Barón project is entering its final stage, with an 85% physical progress rate. The initiative, which involved an investment exceeding 638,000 UF, aims to recover a historically deteriorated area and increase green spaces. The project is preparing for provisional service, allowing the community to use trails and recreational areas while minor finishing touches are completed. To ensure safety, the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism is implementing a comprehensive security system featuring 103 surveillance cameras and 24-hour monitoring.
