Urban redevelopment projects inaugurated in Imola and Legnano
New community infrastructure projects have been inaugurated in Imola and Legnano to enhance local social spaces and urban functionality.
In Imola, a new regulation-sized basketball playground has opened in the Pedagna district at La Tozzona. Developed as part of a three-year expansion project to meet resident requests for free outdoor sports facilities, the playground is located between a social center and local schools. The project was supported by the Polisportiva and the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Imola.
In Legnano, the redevelopment of Piazza Turati on Corso Magenta has been completed. The 2,250-square-meter area has been transformed into a circular urban space featuring inclusive pedestrian paths, draining pavements, and integrated greenery. New amenities include chess-themed game tables, benches, bicycle racks, and improved lighting. The project was funded by the Municipality of Legnano with contributions from the Lombardy Region's FESR and FSE+ programs, as well as the Cohesion Development Fund (FSC).
