Urban regeneration projects advance in Busto Arsizio and Sesto San Giovanni

Urban regeneration projects are advancing in the Lombardy region of Italy. In Busto Arsizio, the ‘Fili Urbani’ project is expanding its social programming. Following the transformation of Piazzale Bersaglieri, which includes a new building and parking facilities, the initiative is launching new workshops and courses aimed at both youth and seniors to foster community engagement and combat social isolation.

In Sesto San Giovanni, construction is beginning on primary and secondary urbanization works for the Unionezero district within the former Falck areas. Managed by Milanosesto Sicaf, these works include the creation of a square in front of the railway station, public green spaces, and utility infrastructure. The project, which supports the private development by Hines and the City of Health and Research, is expected to complete its first phase by spring 2027.
