Urban Regeneration Projects Progress in Puyo, Ecuador and Valledupar, Colombia

In Puyo, Ecuador, the municipal regeneration works on Francisco de Orellana and General Villamil streets have reached 55% overall completion. The projects include full replacement of water and sewage networks, installation of high‑strength pavement, widened sidewalks with tactile guides, ramps, new signage and urban tree planting, as well as drainage upgrades to prevent flooding. Work schedules have been adjusted to limit daytime noise and maintain alternate traffic routes for residents and merchants.

In Valledupar, Colombia, the mayor and city council inspected several key infrastructure works, notably a 4.3‑kilometre improvement of the road to the airport and upgrades on the Batallón La Popa–Don Alberto corridor. Officials emphasized the importance of monitoring progress to ensure timely delivery and quality, aiming to improve mobility and overall quality of life for the community.
