Urban technology conferences scheduled for Spain in 2026

Major international urban development events are scheduled for 2026 in Spain. The Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC), organized by Fira de Barcelona, will take place in Barcelona from November 3 to 5. The event aims to showcase scalable urban solutions with a specific focus on housing challenges. The congress will feature over 1,000 exhibitors and 600 speakers covering tracks such as mobility, energy, and digital transformation.

Additionally, the URBILITY 2026 conference, focused on urban sustainability and smart cities, is set to be held in Seville from November 11 to 13, 2026. This hybrid event will host academics, policymakers, and engineers to discuss topics including climate adaptation, circular economy, and artificial intelligence applications in urban environments.
