Santiago and Bogotá face traffic and water service disruptions

In Santiago, Chile, significant traffic diversions will be implemented this Sunday, September 13, starting at 08:00, due to the Te Deum Evangélico ceremony at the Catedral Evangélica de Chile in Estación Central. The restrictions affect private vehicles and Red Movilidad buses along Avenida Libertador Bernardo O’Higgins. Specific detours include rerouting traffic via Avenida Víctor Jara, General Velásquez, and Avenida Padre Hurtado to manage flow in both east and west directions.

In Colombia, scheduled water service suspensions will affect various sectors in Bogotá and Soacha from September 14 to September 18. In Soacha, areas such as Ciudad Verde and Comuna 2 are expected to face interruptions. In Bogotá, maintenance and network repairs will impact several localities, including Chapinero, Engativá, Puente Aranda, Usaquén, Usme, Bosa, and Suba. Residents are advised to store water in advance to mitigate the impact of these temporary outages.
