Urda train accident: Husband of deceased victim calls for social rebellion

Javier Barrio, the husband of Carmen de Santa Ana, has called for collective rebellion following a fatal train accident in Urda, Spain. His wife, a high-level executive, was killed during what was intended to be her final business trip before retirement.

Speaking to the media, Barrio criticized modern corporate culture, describing it as “the worst of capitalism with haste.” He alleged that companies prioritize speed and profit over employee safety, comparing the current environment to historical labor exploitation. He noted that many companies are reducing staff, forcing single employees to perform the work previously handled by multiple people.

Regarding the ongoing investigation, Barrio stated that the Civil Guard informed families that the number of individuals currently at the retreat center matches the number of bodies in the morgue.
