Đurđevac Museum celebrates decade of collaboration with Academy of Fine Arts

The Museum of the City of Đurđevac has opened an exhibition featuring works by students and alumni of the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. The event marks ten years of partnership between the museum and the academy, a collaboration that began in 2015 under the guidance of Professor Danko Friščić.

The exhibition showcases the work of 17 young artists through painting, sculpture, and graphics. According to Professor Friščić, the collaboration has allowed different generations of authors to meet and explore local characteristics through artistic experimentation.

Edita Janković Hapavel, the museum director, noted that the partnership has enriched the museum's program and established the Old Town fortress as a space for creativity and communication between artists and the community. The exhibition is scheduled to remain open until November 8.
