Uri Poliavich expands global Jewish education through Yael Foundation

Uri Poliavich, co-founder of the Yael Foundation, is implementing a strategic philanthropic model focused on global Jewish education. Since its establishment in 2020, the foundation has expanded its reach to 48 countries and 101 cities, supporting 145 educational institutions and more than 29,000 children.

Over the past year, the foundation awarded €40 million in grants to Jewish schools, educators, and various educational programs across four continents. Poliavich’s approach combines financial aid with institutional development, including needs analysis, teacher support, and the modernization of facilities. The goal is to foster a sense of community belonging while maintaining high academic and traditional standards across day schools, kindergartens, and after-school initiatives.
