Đuro Borbelj Wins 24K Kopaonik Trail Race

Đuro Borbelj claimed victory in the men's 24‑kilometre trail race at Serbia’s Kopaonik National Park, finishing in 1:52:46. He was followed by Darko Pajović (2:03:51) and Sasho Bogojevski (2:08:02). In the women’s division, Victoria Keller took first place with a time of 2:34:53, ahead of Jelena Pajić and Sanja Despotović.

Other categories at the weekend included a men's 15K race won by Dušan Krstić and a women’s 15K won by Milica Velanac. The event also hosted a mountain‑bike marathon, where Damjan Stanišić led the 50‑kilometre “Pančićdužine” race. Over the two‑day weekend, dozens of athletes from clubs across Serbia competed in multiple distance events.

The Kopaonik Trail Race and the accompanying Tri‑Strane Kopaonik bike marathon attracted a strong field of regional runners and cyclists, highlighting the growing popularity of endurance sports in the Balkans.
