Urucará and Energisa urge residents to update registration data

The municipality of Urucará, through the Municipal Secretariat for Social Assistance (SEMAS) and the Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS), has called for residents to update their registration data to ensure access to the 'Tarifa Social de Energia Elétrica'. This program provides significant discounts on monthly electricity bills for eligible families already registered in the 'Cadastro Único' (CadÚnico).

To maintain or obtain this benefit, residents must present original photo identification for all household members and a recent electricity bill. Regular updates to CadÚnico are a federal requirement for the continuity of various social subsidies.

In a related effort to improve service, the energy distributor Energisa is encouraging customers in Rondônia to update their contact information via digital channels, including the Energisa On app, WhatsApp, and their official website. Maintaining updated data allows customers to receive notifications regarding scheduled power outages and ensures priority service for individuals who rely on life-support medical equipment.
