Uruguay to host national and South American karting championships

Uruguay is hosting two significant karting events this October. The Autódromo Ciudad de Dolores will host the 8th round and semifinals of the National Dirt Karting Championship, organized by the Uruguayan Karting Federation. The event, scheduled for October 17 and 18, expects over 80 pilots across various categories, including Senior, Cadets, and Female categories.

Additionally, the South American Rotax Karting Championship will take place from October 6 to 10 at the Complejo Polideportivo Ciudad de Mercedes. This marks the first time the competition arrives in Uruguay. Approximately 200 international participants are expected to compete on a 1,590-meter circuit. The championship includes several categories, such as Micro Max, Junior Max, and electric karts (E20 Senior), and serves as a qualifying event for the world championship.
