A delegation from Uruguay's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, headed by Vice Chancellor Mag. Valeria Csukasi, visited the city of San José de Mayo on Thursday. Accompanied by senior officials including Dr. Ana Teresa Ayala and Lic. Paola Repetto, the team met with the city’s mayor, Ana María Bentaberri, departmental board president Carolina Hornes, and local entrepreneurs.

The meetings focused on expanding Uruguay’s international insertion, discussing opportunities for the productive sector, and reviewing progress on the EU‑Mercosur trade agreement. Csukasi emphasized the need for close dialogue with regional businesses to identify growth prospects and to coordinate joint diplomatic missions.
