URV and Repsol renew STEAM education partnership

Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) and Repsol have renewed their collaboration for the 2026-2027 academic year to support educational programs in the Tarragona region. The partnership focuses on three specific initiatives: Inspira STEAM, IncluSTEAM, and Talent Jove.

These programs aim to promote science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) competencies among diverse student populations. Key objectives include fostering female vocations in science to reduce the gender gap, supporting inclusion in complex social contexts, and promoting academic excellence. The Inspira STEAM project, which provides mentorship from research and industry professionals, has grown significantly since its inception, expanding from three schools to 30 schools and involving over 1,600 students.
