U.S. agricultural exports to Vietnam reach $5.7 billion

United States agricultural exports to Vietnam reached $5.7 billion in 2025, making Vietnam the eighth-largest market for U.S. agricultural products.

To celebrate this growing trade relationship and the upcoming 250th anniversary of U.S. Independence, various organizations including the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam, the USDA, and the U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF) have organized culinary events in Hanoi. These initiatives, such as the ‘American Delights 2026’ festival and the ‘Porkstars USA 2026’ event, aim to showcase the diversity and quality of American products, including beef, poultry, Alaskan seafood, potatoes, Washington apples, and corn-fed pork.

The events feature collaborations between American trade associations and Vietnamese culinary experts, including MasterChefs and professional chefs, to integrate U.S. ingredients into local cuisine. This highlights the increasing demand among Vietnamese consumers for high-quality American agricultural goods.
