U.S. Ambassador Sergio Gor met with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to discuss strengthening strategic ties. The discussions focused on ongoing cooperation in energy and commerce, as well as the development of more robust security relations between the two nations. Priority sectors identified for joint projects include energy, transportation, critical minerals, digital technology, artificial intelligence, and agriculture.

Ambassador Gor also met with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov in Bishkek to express interest in strengthening bilateral relations. The two leaders discussed investment, digital technology, and regional connectivity. President Japarov is expected to visit the United States next month to further advance the growing partnership.
