US and Mexico boost youth soccer development ahead of CONCACAF U‑20 final

Two teenage prospects illustrate the emerging talent pool. Mexico’s Gilberto Mora, 17, debuted for Xolos de Tijuana at 15 years old and has become the club’s youngest ever player, while 16‑year‑old American forward Cavan Sullivan broke the MLS record for youngest debutant with Philadelphia Union.
