U.S. Angri 1927 signs Argentine midfielder Carlos Biason for 2026/27 season

U.S. Angri 1927 announced the acquisition of Argentine midfielder Carlos Biason to strengthen its midfield for the 2026‑27 campaign. Biason, a product of the Belgrano de Córdoba youth system, debuted in senior football at 18 and spent several seasons in Argentina’s Serie C before moving to Italy at 25.

In Italy, Biason played for Tricase in the Eccellenza league, then joined Virtus Francavilla where he contributed to a five‑year rise from Promozione to Serie C, winning three championships. He later helped Bitonto achieve promotion from Serie D to Serie C, added an Eccellenza title with Manfredonia, and had stints with Nola and Caivanese before the new contract.

The club also confirmed the renewal of forward Bruno Petrone, a 2007‑born striker who progressed through the Sorrento youth ranks and joined Angri last season. Petrone’s continued presence reflects the club’s focus on developing young talent alongside experienced signings like Biason.
