Grand Theft Auto VI leaked by Cyberleek group FAST-MOVING

A hacker collective known as Cyberleek has released leaked gameplay footage and map images of Grand Theft Auto VI, just days before Rockstar Games is scheduled to present an extended look at the title on Netflix on August 27. The leaked clips, which appear to be from an older development build, show protagonist Jason engaging in activities such as playing basketball and participating in a road rage altercation.

Observers noted several potential new mechanics in the footage, including a six-star wanted level, a morality or karma system similar to Red Dead Redemption 2, and vehicle-related systems like fuel and engine condition. The footage also suggests a more advanced police AI that can track players via their clothing, vehicle, and facial features.

Cyberleek has framed these leaks as a protest against the commercial practices of Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive. The group issued a manifesto containing three demands: an end to digital pre-orders, a halt to selling locked single-player content as DLC, and a guarantee of single-player content preservation. They have threatened further leaks unless the companies issue a public apology and commit to changing their monetization and distribution policies, specifically regarding the lack of physical media releases.
