U.S. Army transitions troops in Kosovo under NATO 3.0

The U.S. Army in Europe and Africa has announced a transition of troops in Kosovo as part of the NATO 3.0 concept. During a Change of Command ceremony at Regional Command-East, Colonel Jabari M. Miller was welcomed as forces from the 2nd Cavalry Regiment and the 1st Infantry Division assumed the mission.

This transition marks a shift from the 53rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team to theater-provided forces. The move is intended to align with new NATO strategic frameworks aimed at maintaining peace, security, and freedom of movement throughout Kosovo alongside Alliance allies.
