U.S. Bank launches new small business credit cards

U.S. Bank has introduced two new credit card products aimed at small business owners: the Business Essentials Visa Card and the Business Essentials Plus Visa Signature Card. Both cards feature unlimited 2% cash back on everyday business purchases, with the potential to increase rewards by linking accounts to eligible business checking accounts.

The standard Business Essentials card has no annual fee and offers a 0% introductory APR on purchases for the first 12 billing cycles. The premium Business Essentials Plus Visa Signature card carries a $295 annual fee but provides up to 3.5% total cash back when paired with qualifying checking balances and a 5% cash-back rate on the cardholder’s highest-spend category, capped at $200,000 in annual spending.

Both products include access to U.S. Bank’s Spend Management platform and the ExtendPay fixed-fee payment plan. Additionally, actress and entrepreneur Jessica Alba has been named the spokesperson for these new small business offerings.
