US Spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs Record Inflows After Weeks of Outflows

U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange‑traded funds (ETFs) posted a net inflow of $90.4 million on July 10, while spot Ethereum ETFs added $18.4 million. The inflows were driven largely by BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), which alone accounted for $86.8 million, and BlackRock’s ETHA, which supplied $16.2 million of the Ethereum inflow.

The positive week follows a period of heavy withdrawals. In early July, Bitcoin ETFs had recorded a $95 million net outflow, and Ethereum ETFs suffered a five‑day inflow streak that ended with a $52 million outflow. Over the preceding eight weeks, investors pulled roughly $9.5 billion from Bitcoin‑related ETFs and $1.35 billion from Ethereum‑related ETFs. The latest week’s $282 million total net inflow (about $197 million into Bitcoin funds and $84 million into Ethereum funds) marks the first weekly positive flow since early May.

Other developments in the Ethereum ecosystem include the discovery of a critical protocol vulnerability (CVE‑2026‑34219) and a restructuring of the Ethereum Foundation toward a “Lean Ethereum” model, but these technical items have not yet altered the ETF flow dynamics.
