U.S. Border Patrol agents seized approximately 962 pounds of liquid methamphetamine, valued at an estimated $1 million, during a traffic stop on Interstate 15 in California. The narcotics were discovered concealed within the fuel tank of a semi truck traveling north near the California Highway Patrol scales.

A K-9 unit assisted agents in locating the substance. The driver, a Mexican national, was taken into custody and handed over to Homeland Security Investigations and local authorities for prosecution. The vehicle was seized by the U.S. Border Patrol.
