U.S. Cancer Centers Expand Imaging and Digital Pathology Capabilities
Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida has entered a partnership with Dicom Systems to scale its digital pathology infrastructure using the Unifier Platform. The collaboration aims to standardize imaging workflows, improve data access for clinicians, and handle up to 85,735 slide images per day, supporting the center’s growing digital pathology program and enhancing coordinated patient care.
In California, the French Hospital Medical Center’s annual “Share the Hope” fundraiser raised more than $592,000 to fund advanced imaging technology for a new comprehensive cancer center in San Luis Obispo. The new two‑story facility will consolidate oncology services from several regional health systems and house the Hearst Cancer Resource Center, which provides free support programs to thousands of cancer patients each year.
