US-China relations: President Xi Jinping begins state visit to the United States

President Xi Jinping is conducting a state visit to the United States from September 23 to 25 at the invitation of President Trump. The visit aims to strengthen the constructive strategic stable relationship between the two nations, which is viewed as a critical factor for global stability and economic prosperity.

In a related effort to foster long-term cooperation, President Xi recently replied to a letter from students at ten American universities who participated in youth exchange programs in China. He encouraged these young people to serve as ambassadors of friendship, emphasizing that the future of US-China relations rests with the younger generation.

Robert Lawrence Kuhn, Chairman of the Kerr Foundation, noted that stable relations between the two powers provide essential policy predictability for business and investment. He highlighted that cooperation on issues such as artificial intelligence, climate change, and public health is vital for the international community.
