U.S. College Students Serve in El Salvador Vision Clinic

A campus ministry partnership sent a group of U.S. college students to El Salvador for a four‑day vision clinic, providing eye exams and glasses to 859 people who lacked access to eye care. The team also shared the Christian message with 262 individuals, resulting in 54 people responding to the faith outreach. One beneficiary, Rosa, received glasses and spiritual support, helping her and her husband facing serious health issues and possible eviction.

The organizers emphasize that mission work does not require long‑distance travel; it can begin with local prayer, building relationships with global servants, and supporting missionaries through encouragement or financial aid. They encourage churches and small groups to take simple steps—prayer, learning, giving, inviting—to participate in global mission efforts.
