Colleges prepare for fall semester student move-ins

Colleges across the United States are preparing for the start of the fall semester as students begin moving into campus residences.

At Colorado State University, more than 6,000 students are expected to move into residence halls, with peak arrival activity scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday. The university is utilizing a reservation system to manage traffic and congestion.

In Colorado Springs, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) is also welcoming students, with freshmen settling into dormitories and participating in campus activities to ease the transition into college life.

Meanwhile, Santa Barbara City College is preparing for thousands of students to arrive next week, offering a head start on the semester for those living in the Isla Vista area.
