US, Denmark, and Greenland sign Arctic defense agreement
The United States, Denmark, and Greenland have signed a new defense agreement in New York to expand the American military presence in the Arctic. The deal, signed by President Donald Trump, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, and Greenlandic leader Jens-Frederik Nielsen, updates the 1951 US-Denmark Defense Agreement.
