US Department of Defense releases new UAP documents
The US Department of Defense has released a new collection of documents regarding Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), formerly known as UFOs. The files include photos, videos, and reports of unexplained events in the sky and space, detailing unresolved cases where the government cannot make a definitive determination regarding the nature of the observed phenomena.
While some released imagery, such as lights recorded during the Apollo 12 lunar mission, may be attributed to cosmic rays or visual artifacts, other cases remain unexplained. Notable examples include 2020 Navy videos of “Tic Tac” objects that appear to move without obvious propulsion.
Critics argue that the released information is incomplete. Some observers suggest that the most significant data remains classified within the CIA, federally funded laboratories, and private defense contractors, noting that the current public release may only represent a cleaned-up version of the full records.
