US Department of Defense releases third batch of declassified UAP files

The U.S. Department of Defense, through the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), disclosed a third batch of declassified Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) records. The files include a "potato-shaped" object observed hovering over Colorado and video of glowing orb‑like entities.

Another case described in the release involves a large orange "mother orb" near a secured western U.S. government site that reportedly shed several smaller red orbs. Multiple federal agents witnessed the event over two evenings. Analysts have considered drones, atmospheric effects, foreign technology and other explanations, but no definitive cause has been identified. The documents indicate the phenomena are being tracked globally and are treated as potential national‑security concerns.

The Pentagon says the continued declassifications aim to increase transparency and support scientific and security assessments of these unexplained incidents.
