The U.S. Department of Education has faced social media scrutiny following the release of an AI-generated cartoon on X. The image, created using the Grok Imagine tool, depicts Donald Trump in a race car alongside Education Secretary Linda McMahon.

Critics and Democratic House Oversight officials pointed out that an unspecified grey-haired man in the image bears a resemblance to the late Jeffrey Epstein. The cartoon was released in anticipation of the Freedom 250 Grand Prix scheduled to take place in Washington, D.C. The Department of Education has been contacted for comment regarding the post.
