U.S. Department of War launches PURSUE portal for UFO disclosures

On May 8 2026 the U.S. Department of War released the Presidential System for Unsealing and Disclosure of UAP Encounters (PURSUE) – a public website that provides access to decades‑old videos, photographs and declassified documents on unidentified aerial phenomena. The portal organizes the material into batch releases, each accompanied by a manifest detailing file origins, dates and classification history, allowing researchers to track the provenance of the records.

Ahead of the next scheduled release, referred to as “Tranche 5,” officials have indicated that a new batch will be made available on July 31. The anticipated tranche is expected to include previously unseen sensor video of an anomalous craft operating inside controlled U.S. airspace, documents on advanced propulsion concepts dating back to the 1950s, and additional multi‑agency material from the Department of War, AARO, NASA and intelligence communities.
