US deportes over 100 Haitian criminals following Supreme Court TPS ruling

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced that more than 100 Haitian nationals with convictions for violent crimes and child sex offenses were removed from the United States on a July 16, 2026 flight that landed in Cap‑Haitien, Haiti. Among those deported were individuals convicted of child molestation, domestic violence, armed carjacking and drug trafficking. The decision has spurred a broader crackdown, with ICE reporting over 10,000 arrests of Haitian migrants in June 2026 and two deaths linked to enforcement operations. Approximately 350,000 Haitian immigrants now face possible expulsion under the administration’s immigration policy.
