US dollar exchange rates fluctuate in Argentina and Peru

Currency exchange rates for the US dollar showed varied activity in Argentina and Peru in early October 2026.

In Argentina, the official dollar was priced at 1,495 pesos for purchase and 1,545 pesos for sale. The informal blue dollar reached 1,540 pesos for purchase and 1,560 pesos for sale. Other rates included the wholesale dollar at 1,513/1,522 pesos, the Contado con Liquidación (CCL) at 1,621.7/1,622.4 pesos, and the crypto dollar at 1,617.18/1,623.13 pesos.

In Peru, the parallel market rate for Sunday, October 4, was recorded at S/ 3.410 for purchase and S/ 3.445 for sale. The official SUNAT reference rate was S/ 3.437 for purchase and S/ 3.442 for sale. The Central Reserve Bank of Peru reported that the dollar closed the previous Friday session at S/ 3.4360.
