US Dollar Strength Fuels Broad Forex Gains

The U.S. dollar remains near 13‑month highs as markets price in hawkish Federal Reserve expectations and upcoming core PCE, GDP, durable‑goods and jobless‑claims data. The dollar’s rally has kept EUR/USD, GBP/USD and other risk‑sensitive pairs under pressure, while USD/JPY hovers near levels where central‑bank intervention is possible.

In the Swiss franc market, USD/CHF is approaching seven‑month peaks around 0.8125, driven by safe‑haven demand after tech‑stock declines and heightened uncertainty over U.S.–Iran nuclear talks. Technical analysis shows the pair in a bullish trend but nearing overbought territory, with resistance near 0.8124‑0.8132 and support around 0.8040‑0.8740.

Analysts note that the dollar’s momentum is likely to persist until weaker U.S. economic data or policy shifts emerge, while traders monitor the upcoming Swiss Economic Expectations Survey and U.S. PCE price index for further cues.
