US economy faces labor market slowdown amid inflation data anticipation

Global financial markets are bracing for a week of significant economic data, primarily centered on United States inflation and employment trends. The US labor market showed signs of deceleration in September, with non-agricultural job creation falling to just 29,000, significantly below the expected 84,000. Concurrently, the unemployment rate rose to 4.2%, and previous employment figures for July and August were revised downward by 60,000 jobs.

Investors are closely monitoring the upcoming Consumer Price Index (CPI) report due Wednesday, which will likely influence Federal Reserve interest rate decisions. Other key US indicators scheduled for release include the Producer Price Index (PPI) and retail sales data. In the currency markets, the US dollar remains near an 18-month high, while the Euro faces pressure due to political uncertainty in France.

In Asia, the Bank of Japan has recently raised its policy interest rate to 1.25% to manage inflation risks. Meanwhile, the cryptocurrency sector is anticipating volatility driven by major token unlocks for projects like Starknet and Arbitrum, alongside broader economic shifts affecting Bitcoin and Ethereum.
