U.S. EDA allocates $62 million for Southeast infrastructure

The U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) has announced $62 million in investments aimed at fostering economic development and sustainable water infrastructure across five southeastern states.

The funding includes $24.1 million for water infrastructure improvements in Albany, Kentucky, to ensure safe drinking water and support local industries. Additionally, $17.1 million is allocated for a workforce training center in Tallahassee, Florida, to create regional job opportunities, and $12.3 million is designated for an eco-mobility center.
