U.S. Embassy and EducationUSA announce initiatives in Ecuador

The U.S. Embassy in Ecuador has announced two part-time job openings in Quito: Security Escort and Administrative Assistant. Both positions offer an annual salary of $15,551.50. Applications are open until September 22, 2026, and must be submitted through the electronic employment system.

Additionally, EducationUSA, a network of the U.S. Department of State, will host education fairs in Quito and Guayaquil. These events allow Ecuadorian high school and university students to meet representatives from over 40 U.S. higher education institutions to discuss undergraduate, graduate, and English language programs. The Guayaquil fair is scheduled for September 16 at the Wyndham Puerto Santa Ana, while the Quito fair will take place on September 19 at the Swissôtel. Admission is free, though prior registration is required.
