US ETFs Hit $15.8 Trillion Record, Europe Logs $132.5 Billion Inflows

U.S. exchange‑traded funds (ETFs) reached a new asset high of $15.817 trillion in June 2026, up $101 billion from the previous month. Net investor inflows that month totalled $206.1 billion, offset partially by a $105 billion decline in market values. Equity ETFs dominate the U.S. market with $12.272 trillion, followed by bond ETFs at $2.566 trillion. iShares, BlackRock’s ETF arm, remains the largest manager with $4.587 trillion, about 29% of total U.S. ETF assets.

In Europe, ETF inflows hit a record $132.5 billion for the second quarter of 2026, with June alone bringing in $46.1 billion. The first half of the year saw $257.5 billion in net inflows, a 58% increase over the same period in 2025. Equity ETFs attracted $36 billion of the quarterly inflows, while bond ETFs drew $9.9 billion. Growth is driven by higher risk appetite, lower oil prices and optimism around artificial‑intelligence‑related earnings.
