US fast-food chains expand into the United Kingdom

Several American fast-food chains are expanding into the United Kingdom market. Chuck E. Cheese is scheduled to open its first UK branch in late 2026, which will also mark its debut in Europe. Managing director Alistair Burnett noted the move is driven by a passion for creating family fun.

Other upcoming openings include Raising Cane's, which plans to launch a flagship location in London at a former Angus Steakhouse later this year. Houston Hot Chicken will open its first UK flagship in Stevenage this October, with a long-term goal of opening 50 stores across the country within three years.

These arrivals follow a trend of US brands entering the UK, including Wendy's, Popeyes, Wingstop, Dave's Hot Chicken, and Chick-fil-A.
