U.S. foreign-born population decreases by 3 million under Trump
A preliminary analysis of government data indicates that the foreign-born population in the United States has decreased by nearly 3 million people since Donald Trump returned to the White House. This figure represents the largest decline in foreign-born individuals in recent decades.
The reduction includes approximately 2.3 million illegal aliens who were either deported or left the country voluntarily, alongside a decrease of 600,000 legal immigrants. While the administration is pursuing mass deportations as part of campaign promises, current efforts have focused primarily on criminal illegal aliens described as the ‘worst of the worst.’
The Department of Homeland Security estimated there were roughly 22 million illegal aliens in the country at the start of the Trump administration.
