U.S. functional beverage brands Dose and Javvy explore $1 billion sales
Supplements brand Dose, maker of daily liquid wellness shots, is exploring a sale that could value the privately held Miami company at close to $1 billion. The company generates over $200 million in annual revenue, is profitable and is working with investment bank Perella Weinberg Partners. Dose was founded in 2020 by entrepreneur Vasu Goyal and counts investors such as Unilever Ventures, Melitas Ventures and Vanterra Ventures.
Functional‑beverage brand Javvy, known for protein‑coffee powders, is also weighing a sale that could fetch about $1 billion. The South Carolina‑based firm reports nearly $300 million of annual revenue and has hired Houlihan Lokey to run the process. Javvy was launched in 2020 by Justin Kemperman and Brandon Monaghan and sells its products through Walmart, Target and other retailers.
Both sales come as the nutrition‑and‑wellness sector sees heightened interest, following Procter & Gamble’s $3.8 billion acquisition of Thorne and broader consumer demand for protein‑rich and functional drinks.
