Texas high school football state championships to be broadcast for free

Texas high school football fans will have free access to all 12 UIL state championship games through local television stations and streaming platforms. An agreement announced by Nexstar Media Group and Mission Broadcasting will provide live coverage of the championships, which are scheduled to take place from December 16 to 19 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

The four day event will crown Division I and Division II champions across all six UIL classifications. The partnership includes television stations and digital streaming platforms in 13 Texas markets, such as Dallas, Houston, Austin, El Paso, and Amarillo. Viewers outside of Texas will also be able to access the games through participating stations’ digital streaming platforms.
