U.S. intelligence warns of assassination plot against Donald Trump
The U.S. intelligence community, in coordination with foreign partners, has assessed a serious threat to the life of Donald Trump. According to classified defense reports, foreign extremist groups may be plotting a coordinated assassination attempt against the American leader, potentially timed around the midterm elections in November 2026.
Intelligence suggests that Iranian intelligence agencies are the primary orchestrators, operating through an extensive network of underground cells. This is viewed as a continued long-term retaliation strategy following the 2020 assassination of General Qasem Soleimani and recent U.S. military actions against Iranian nuclear facilities.
In response, the U.S. Secret Service has implemented radical changes to security protocols. These measures include the use of decoy Air Force aircraft during international summits and the deployment of short-range air defense and missile defense systems at public events to protect against UAV or small missile attacks.
