US intelligence witnesses to 2025 UAP orb incident may testify
U.S. intelligence officials who witnessed a series of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) in late 2025 may be called to testify before Congress. The incident involved multiple orange orbs, including smaller objects that allegedly emerged from a larger “mothership” orb, near an undisclosed military base on the West Coast.
According to an FBI report released in May, witnesses observed these objects flying alongside a helicopter against a mountain backdrop. One report described an oval-shaped orange, white, and yellow orb approaching the helicopter and splitting in two.
Representative Eric Burlison (R-Mo.) stated he is exploring the possibility of public testimony, though he cautioned that bringing intelligence personnel into the spotlight could risk exposing sensitive information. While some witnesses have met with members of Congress in closed-door sessions, not all video footage from the encounter has been shared. Avi Loeb, head of the UAP Scientific Advisory Council, noted that he has not yet seen the footage collected during the mission.
