Concurrently, Iran has outlined conditions for resuming negotiations with the United States through mediators in Qatar and Pakistan. Tehran’s demands include an end to hostilities on all fronts, the unfreezing of Iranian financial assets, and the lifting of naval blockades against its ports. Iranian officials have linked the fulfillment of these demands to the potential reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global energy transit route.
