U.S. launches $50M Pax Silica initiative to secure AI supply chains

The initiative aims to strengthen global AI supply chain security and reduce reliance on non-allied sources for strategic technologies. In the Philippines, officials are looking to integrate regional mineral resources into this emerging ecosystem to move up the technology value chain.
