Lecce stresses continuity and squad unity ahead of Serie A campaign

Lecce’s senior management highlighted the club’s stability and cohesive group as it prepares for the upcoming Serie A season. Administrator Sandro Mencucci said the fifth consecutive year in the top flight marks a historic milestone and that continuity across technical and organisational areas is a key strength. He described the squad as “tranquil, united, and ready to integrate any new arrivals quickly.”

Technical director Stefano Trinchera added that the transfer market remains difficult, noting no official offers for defender Tiago Gabriel despite interest from European clubs, and confirming no bids for goalkeeper Wladimiro Falcone. Trinchera affirmed the club will evaluate any advantageous proposals while retaining its core players.

The club expects a challenging campaign, acknowledging past last‑minute survival but vowing to fight throughout the season.
