US Lecce focuses on Santiago Pierotti and youth talent Pasquale Esposito

US Lecce is focusing on key personnel within its squad, including established player Santiago Pierotti and rising youth talent Pasquale Esposito.

Santiago Pierotti remains a vital asset for the club due to his versatility, having been utilized as a midfielder and attacking midfielder. His current contract is set to expire in 2027, though the club holds an option for an additional year. While his recent performances have been inconsistent, his high number of appearances makes him a candidate for potential contract renewal discussions.

In the youth sector, Pasquale Esposito is emerging as a significant talent for the Primavera team. The striker, who wears the number 9, has shown strong scoring form, recording 13 goals in 23 matches last season and 3 goals in 5 matches so far this season. Standing at 185 cm, Esposito is noted for his physical strength and ability to play as a target man, though coaches are working on improving his discipline regarding yellow cards.
