US Lecce nears contract renewal for Paco Esteban and new executive appointment

US Lecce is making significant organizational and squad-building moves. The club has reportedly reached an agreement to renew the contract of young Spanish striker Paco Esteban. The 2006-born player, who joined from Real Betis in 2025, recently finished as the top scorer in the Primavera championship with 21 goals and has already made appearances for the first team in Serie A and Coppa Italia.

On the management side, Lecce is set to appoint Mattia Baldassarre to a new executive role. Baldassarre, currently with Ravenna, is expected to join the club as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). His position will focus on commercial strategies and economic growth rather than player transfers, marking an effort by the club to modernize its corporate structure and diversify revenue streams.
